The successor to last year's "flagship killer" continues to catch the attention of many prospects who are looking for high-end smartphones at more affordable prices. Apparently, a new leak depicting the alleged OnePlus 3 surfaced online, showcasing a device that appears familiar in several ways. The photo, posted by known leaker Evan Blass, looks like an official render.
According to BGR, the leak suggests that the smartphone is "more like a lovechild" of the iPhone 6s and HTC 10. Users of both handsets might find this true - the device flaunts a slim, metallic build like Apple's latest offer, while the antenna and camera take on the Taiwanese manufacturer's placement aesthetic. But of course, this information must be taken with a pinch of salt.

If the image shows truth, OnePlus is steering away from the original model's plastic build to become visually at par with most Android devices we've seen lately. Blass also points the device's AMOLED display and 3,000mAh battery.
The upcoming device is speculated to have a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 16MP main camera and an 8MP selfie snapper. Under the hood, it's purported to pack a Snapdragon 820 chip and a 3,500 mAh battery (previous rumor). Mashable notes that it's also pegged to have 4GB of RAM and a 32GB storage option.
OnePlus has vowed to reveal its next smartphone in June, The Verge recalls. The OnePlus 3 is allegedly offered in two versions: one sports 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the other packs 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The smartphones are touted to sell around $307 and $384, respectively.
