The all-time favorite "Ratchet and Clank" for PS4 is released in stores today. A reimagined version of the 2002 Ratchet and Clank will feature brand-new weapons, exciting gameplay, unique levels and bosses. It is available in both physical and digital copy.
Aside from reliving Ratchet and Clank's funny moments, the highly inventive weapon arsenal is the most endearing piece of the new game. The Pixelizer, for example, is capable of turning enemies to minuscule versions. PC Advisor reports that there will be "new planets, a new upgrade system and new Clank gameplay" available. Strafing is still available in this version of Ratchet and Clank.
Insomniac Games faced delays prior to this release of Ratchet and Clank to sync it with the release of the Ratchet and Clank animated film, according to Game Rant. This strategic synchronized release is an attempt to increase game sales better. However, fans were assured that "Ratchet and Clank" delay was productive as what's in store is more "ambitious than originally planned".
True to its word, Playstation Lifestyle cited that "Ratchet and Clank" has reached Gold status back in March of this year. Gamers were on the edge of their seat as they anticipated its imminent release following the April 20, 2016 international screening of its film counterpart. An extensive PS4 gameplay is also released with the announcement:
As "Ratchet and Clank" gain momentum in terms of popularity, Insomniac Games are already announcing release dates for two other upcoming games exclusive for Oculus Rift. As per Game Rant, the Lovecraftian horror game "Edge of Nowhere" and Metroid-Inspired "Song of the Deep" is set to be launched on June 6 and July 12, respectively.
"Ratchet and Clank" seems to be gold mine in every platform. From PS2 to the PS4 now, maybe an Oculus Rift version is not that far-fetched dream for the space suited duo.
