Upcoming Guitar Hero Live Offers Two New Game Modes And Completely New Guitar Controller

After a brief hiatus, one of the most popular plastic accessories of the gaming industry is set to return with an equally entertaining game that has been slumbering for some time. Activision finally revealed, last Tuesday, that they will be releasing their latest baby Guitar Hero Live in the next couple of months. The Guitar Hero Live is currently being developed by FreeStyleGames, the same developer who brought the successful DJ Hero. The upcoming Guitar Hero Live will also feature not one but two new game modes and a completely redesigned guitar controller.

The first game mode of Guitar Hero Live will give players the chance to play into the virtual stage and perform in front of a real audience, through a first-person perspective. The crowd will react, real time, to your performance, and say whether it was good or bad. Guitar Hero Live's second mode is called GHTV and coined as the world's first playable music video network. The mode is open 24 hours a day, so can jump into the mode and play the updated collection of music videos. The game mode will also allow the gamer to play with their friends either inside the same room or online.

In addition, the game will also be fully playable on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, but as of this time, Activision is still mum on the details of how the game will be playable in the mobile devices.

The new and redesigned guitar controller, the five colors outline single row buttons have been ditched and will now feature two rows of three buttons to give players a real feel of how to play an actual guitar.

Guitar Hero Live is set to be released, formally, on October 20 in the North America and Australian Region while the EU region will get it on October 23rd. The game will be available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One game consoles.
