Destiny has recently released it Patch 2.0 across multiple platforms of the game in preparation of its biggest expansion so far, The Taken King. However, the newest update appears to have a problem on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 game consoles. Fortunately, the organization who had released the update is aware and is currently looking at it and possibly will come up with a fix to address the issue.
According to the Xbox users, the patch can't get through when they are about to download the game. Bungie was quick to reply, via twitter, and provided a message that says "Thank you for your patience as we investigate."
On related news, that wasn't the only issue Destiny has faced recently. Another report confirmed that there are people who had pre-ordered The Taken King who had yet to receive the in-game shaders, emblems, and items, which Bungie also acknowledged and confirmed that they are currently on it.
In addition, a couple of weeks back, Destiny also brought down their servers, for a scheduled maintenance, in preparation for its expansion, The Taken King.
The Taken King is set to be released on September 15 and offers tons of new features such as new weapon lines and armors and new territories to explore. It will also feature new supers and subclasses which include the much-anticipated characters Titan Sunbreaker, Hunter Nightstalker, and Warlock Stormcaller.
Oryx will be the Taken King, which will be the game's main antagonist. He will be armed with a dark power and was deemed as the most powerful character of the series that players have yet to face.
Destiny has been one of the biggest first-person shooting game this year as it booked the highest sale, upon its release as well as the registered number of gamers that is at around 16 million as of January 2015.
