Kerbal Space Program was a big hit on the PC and it is about time for console gamers to experience the awesome game. Xbox One will be the first of the game consoles to get the rights for the title.
For those who are unfamiliar with the game, the Kerbal Space Program or KSP, is a basically a game for those who are, so to speak, frustrated space explorers or NASA hopefuls. The game's first task is to build a craft that can go to the moon.
KSP will not, however, spoon feed the gamer with everything they need. The player is basically responsible for the outcome of the project. If the spacecraft they built offshoots and went to the sun or exploded along the way, it's their responsibility.
As the skill of the player progresses, the game's resources also advance. The project becomes bigger and bigger up to a point where the moon is just like a regular trip to the convenient store.
The game was developed by Squad and was formally released on April 27 of this year, for Linux, OS X, and Windows. However, the Kerbal Space Program was made publicly available in 2011 and was made available on Stream's early access program on 2013.
The game was initially released as a beta program that allowed the testers and gamers to modify the game.
Due to the intricacy and complexity of the game, big players in the space industry, such as NASA and Elon Musk, have taken an interest in the game.
The game also booked a record-breaking feat when it reached Stream's top 5 game sold hours after its release as well as the best-selling game (on Steam) for Linux.
At this point, the Kerbal Space Program is on its way to Xbox One and according to reports, the PlayStation 4 will also get their chance to get the game depending on the Xbox One reception.
