Consumer electronics giant Sony recently announced that they will be launching a series of 'Star Wars' themed PlayStation 4 bundles, which includes a Darth Vader inspired PS4 controller.
The first of the series to be released is a black PS4 with an image of the Sith Lord and a 'Star Wars' logo and its controller will look exactly the same as to the character's iconic costumes.
Another Darth Vader bundle will be released that is inspired by Disney Infinity 3.0: Star War Edition. The second edition Darth Vader bundle will be exclusively distributed by Walmart.
The special edition PS4 will feature a 500 GB hard drive, and a copy of the deluxe edition of Star Wars: Battlefront.
In addition, the bundle will also come with a digital voucher which can be used to download the 'Super Star Wars', 'Star Wars: Racer Revenge', 'Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter' and 'Star Wars Bounty Hunter', which are considered classic Star Wars games.
The announcement came in during a presentation at the D23 Expo by Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media in Anaheim. Before the team concluded the presentation, the crowd was surprised by the unannounced arrival of John Boyega and Daisy Ridley, who will headline the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
For those who are living under the biggest rock in the world, 'Star Wars' is a legendary film which made its debut in the late 70s. The first film catapulted the sci-fi film into fame and the next two sequels of the film finally cemented Star Wars in the history of filmmaking.
'Star Wars' is George Lucas' brainchild and has catapulted the careers of Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford. The film also produced iconic fictional characters such as Darth Vader, Chewbacca, R2D2, C3PO, and Yoda.
In 2012, Lucas sold the franchise to Walt Disney for $4.05 billion.
The 'Star Wars' themed Sony PlayStation 4 will be in the stands by November.
