New Trailer for Borderlands 2 Goes Hakuna Matata

Ever go on a family camping trip, but there's that one uncle who gets a few beers in and decides you and your 7 year old cousin should go hunting all of a sudden? No, that was just me?

Well, this new Borderlands 2 trailer is something like that. Just replace your cousin with gunzerker Salvador and you're halfway there (it's an easy swap, they're both about the same height).

The trailer shows us some of Pandora's new enemies, and how this new crew of vault hunters deals with 'em: Check siren Maya's "Phaselock" ability traps enemies in a ball of energy, Salvador dual wielding big, bad ass guns, Commando Axton's turrets, and Zer0's decoy ability. Still no sign of the Mechromancer though, but check it out for yourselves below!



Apart from the new players you can choose, there'll also be a whole bunch of new enemies. Borderlands producer Matt Charles says,  "There are brand new enemy families in Borderlands 2, and the total count of unique enemies (including special elemental variants with unique AI) is in the triple digits. New environments + new enemy types and behaviours = much more varied combat encounters!"

Borderlands 2 and its bazilliondier guns are expected out September 18th.
