The weekend has arrived, meaning mysterious Destiny merchant Xûr is back, as well. The vendor is the only one in the game to sell exotic weapons, and every week is different than the last.

This week, Xûr is in the Tower down by the Crucible Quartermaster. He's in a new location from one week to the next, and his stock differs every time. Xûr appears on Friday (5 a.m. Eastern) and departs overnight between Saturday and Sunday.

Xûr always sells three exotic armor pieces--one for each class--and an exotic weapon. Since The Dark Below's release, Xûr also offers an Exotic Shard, which is needed to upgrade Exotic weapons to their final tie and can now also Ascend Exotic weapons and armor to the new attack or defense cap. Xûr used to offer upgrades on Exotic weapons and armor following The Dark Below's release, but that feature has been made irrelevant by House of Wolves. Players can now upgrade their own weapons at any time with Exotic Shards or Etheric Light provided they have the materials, so Xûr's inventory is back to selling Exotic gear, Curios, and a Mote of Light exchange.
