GOG.com has added multiple titles from big franchises to its collection, DRM-free for the first time.
The Witcher 3 Xbox One Gameplay Video Shows 900p To 1080p Dynamic Scaling
Darksiders 1 & 2, Metro: Last Light Redux, Saints Row 2, and Saints Row The Third have all been released on GOG without any DRM (digital rights management). The games are well and truly yours if you decide to purchase, not chained through a client or service.
Even better, they've all been discounted fairly heavily in celebration! Metro: Last Light Redux (our review here) is 50 percent off, the Saints Row titles are 66 and 60 percent off, and the Darksiders titles are 60 percent off. You can get 75 percent off the Darksiders games by bundling everything together. All of these titles are sharing a DRM-free promotion right on GOG's home page.

"It's not every day that we see major games like these, unchained from any forms of DRM," says Oleg Klapovsky, VP of business development at GOG.com. "With today's big-name DRM-free releases, and the impending The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt premiere, we anticipate even more major titles to follow suit."
GOG feels strongly about not requiring DRM, a feature wrapped into the recently launched GOG Galaxy. The digital games client and store allows you to save a backup of any game you own, separate from the client. The company's library recently passed 1,000 games, so browse away at the DRM-free collection.
