Naughty Dog has announced that The Last of Us DLC Left Behind is being released as a standalone download.

The DLC was originally released after the launch of Left Behind, though it's included in the PS4 remake The Last of Us Remastered. The standalone game will only be made available as a PlayStation Store download, and will be coming to both PS4 and PS3 on May 12 for $9.99.
The developers suggest that The Last of Us: Left Behind is a good way to get into the game's world at a good price for those who haven't played the main title. Its story takes place during The Last of Us' main narrative arc, but does not necessarily need the context of the story and is its own tale.
