It's no surprise to most gamers that Mortal Kombat would boast over-the-top levels of violence and gore, but how about to some older folk?

TheFineBros' React series has come through with the entertainment again, showing off Mortal Kombat X gameplay to a group of elders. In particular, the participants were shown a variety of fatalities from the game, which are even more brutal than the majority of the gameplay.
As you can see in the video below, most of them don't take it very well. Some are mildly entertained while agreeing it's gratuitous, some are grossed out by the visuals, and one woman in particular is very offended by the moves on display. They are undeniably grotesque, even if it doesn't bother you, and so not expecting that level of violence leads to the reactions you see.

Fatalities are of course intentionally over-the-top, with the designers pulling out all the stops to make the finishing moves as creative and gruesome as possible. They certainly succeeded, and I doubt the elders would find the general fighting segments as objectionable as the fatalities.
