Razer is offering a 2-for-1 Band Together promotion on its Nabu X Smartband in an attempt to grow the product's user base.

From April 28 to May 31, purchasing one Nabu X Smartband will get you a second entirely free--not a bad deal by any means. Why is Razer giving away its products for free with Band Together? I'll let them take that:
"Razer wants to help as many people as possible get Nabu X on their wrists and enjoying the wearable's social features, creating an even more connected world of gamers. A person can buy a Nabu X, give the complimentary one to a gaming pal and utilize the social features together. Sharing is caring!"

The device is, at least in part, inherently more useful when others are using it too. Some of its features can only be appreciated alongside another device with which to interact, so Razer is going the direct route to make that happen. Contact info (like Facebook and Twitter) exchange, for instance, can occur when two users wearing the device shake hands.
A Razer Nabu X will cost you $49.99, so Band Together is giving you an extra $50 device for free. You can purchase one at the Razer store online, and see more details about the product there.
