The latest update for Killer Instinct is out on Thursday and it brings along fan favorite, Cinder.
Dota 2 Update 6.84 Adds New Gameplay Balances
Now, I know what you're thinking: why wasn't Cinder in the game already? First, kudos to you on your memory; Killer Instinct has only had three entries in the series, the last one before the Xbox One installment was in 1996. Secondly, all good things come to those who wait.
Cinder, real name Ben Ferris, takes the stage. He's stronger, faster...burnier, and he has a bit of a grudge against the team over at UltraTech who made him this way. Not that he isn't appreciative of the whole being able to shoot fire thing, but maybe you occasionally want to hug somebody.
The Just Cause 3 Gameplay Trailer Is Over The Top And Utterly Glorious
He's quick and nimble, like fire itself. Cinder is the eighth character to join the roster during Season 2 of Killer Instinct, and is available on Thursday for all owners of the 'Ultra Edition' on Xbox One. Combo Breaker owners can get ahold of the hothead next week, on May 6.
The rest of you, well, you're out of luck.
Killer Instinct is a free to play titled that launched along with the Xbox One last November. The full roster currently includes 18 announced characters, plus four as yet released characters. The short teaser below, which shows off Cinder's impressive moves (and equally impressive wit), also teases the boss of UltraTech, ARIA, briefly at the end.
Check it out, and be sure to download Killer Instinct. It won't cost you a thing.
