Bloodborne Patch 1.03 Will Improve Load Times And Add Other Optimizations

Bloodborne's next patch isn't here quite yet, but we've been given more details about what it will contain, as well as a new sales milestone.

Current Gen Remastering Metro Redux Is Now Available For Mac

In a post on the PlayStation Blog today, Sony Computer Entertainment President Japan Studio Masaaki Yamagiwa announced that the game had sold over 1 million copies. The rest of the post goes on to talk about the game itself, including what we'll see in Patch 1.03, which is aiming for release before the end of the month.

"We are amazed and very grateful for the way in which the community has embraced Bloodborne. As you may have seen, we've just announced that Bloodborne has now sold through over one million copies worldwide. Thank you to everyone who has supported the project!"

Grand Theft Auto 5 For PC Has Finally Arrived  

As hoped, the update will aim to reduce load times--one of the most common complaints about Bloodborne as it stands. Particularly in a game where you die so many times, having long load screens is pretty irritating to players, but From Software is looking to speed things up. Load time improvements will be joined by other performance optimizations, as well as additional fixes to game behavior.
