Devolver Digital and developers Croteam have pulled the curtain off Road to Gehenna, a four-part expansion that will offer players some of the most challenging and advanced obstacles yet. The missions will follow the narrative of Uriel, Elohim's messenger, as he explores a strange, hidden part of the simulation in a quest of mercy and redemption.
The release date and price are yet to be announced, but Road to Gehenna is currently penciled in on PC for this spring. The expansion will release on PS4 and Nvidia Shield platforms later this year. The original writers, Tom Jubert and Jonas Kyratzes, have returned for the project. The expansion will show a different side of the world from the main game, with its own history and philosophy.

"We wanted to revisit the world of The Talos Principle and deliver new characters and a new world with its own history and culture," said Tom Jubert, co-writer of The Talos Principle. "With Road to Gehenna we have created an all-new narrative which both branches off from and expands the original character's journey."
The Talos Principle is a fully 3D puzzler praised as much for its challenging tests as for its surprisingly insightful (not generic or pretentious) points on philosophy and existence. You can watch it in action in the video below, and purchase it on Steam now.
