Project CARS Location Trailer: Check Out All The Real World Tracks Lovingly Recreated In Delayed Next Gen Racing Sim [VIDEO]

The Project CARS Locations Are Many And Beautiful In The Latest Trailer For The Delayed Racing Sim

There comes a point every now and then in the new trailer for Project CARS in which fact and fiction start to bleed into one another. Certain moments, rendered beautifully with the game's graphics engine, look like you're watching the opening to any number of rally sports.

Nintendo Will Walk The Razor's Edge Of Mobile Games

That's how beautiful this game looks. Sure, the game is the Zeno's Paradox of release dates - the closer we come to a release, we still discover an infinite number of days in between now and then - but that doesn't stop us from being oh so impressed by what they will (eventually) offer.

Project CARS boasts the largest number of tracks in any racing game with over 30 artfully recreated real world tracks like Watkins-Glen to Sonoma. The only thing more impressive than the places you'll be driving are the cars you'll be driving in, which run from the very expensive to the night unaffordable. All can be yours in the closest thing to actually being there.

No specific date has been set for the Project CARS release onto console, though dev studio Slightly Mad has stated that it will be "mid-day". When they don't give you a specific date, you can't call them out on missing it. This marked the third delay in the game, which was meant to hit last autumn.

But, as the saying goes, good things come to those who wait. The problem with that is that people like waiting around for a good thing they already know. Project CARS is an untested entry into the crowded pool of racing sims.

Good or bad, it's still so pretty to look at. Check out the trailer below.
