Gaming Heads, purveyor of high quality collectible figures, have announced a new God of War themed statue.
The Latest Warframe Update Offers Players Little 'Sanctuary'
Called 'Kratos on Throne', as if the eventual embodiment of the god of war himself were a Renaissance work of art, the upcoming model recreates the final scene of the original game wherein Kratos, victorious over Ares, sits alone on the throne and ponders the road taken.
"The entire scene has been cast in high quality polystone resin, and has been hand painted to allow for the most intricate of detailing. Kratos is depicted at ¼ scale, meaning that the entire piece is a breathtaking 29 inches tall to the top of the throne's spires."

Artist Yogesh Sharma and Gaming Heads will create two versions of the statue. The Regular Edition depicts Kratos in his normal outfit, his whitened skin and red tattoos on display. It's limited to only 1250 units and can be pre-ordered here for $479.99. The Exclusive Edition has Kratos in his full god of war garb, the Armor of Ares which he claimed as spoils.
It's further limited to just 500 units and is available here for $499.99.
Both versions will be released during the fourth quarter of this year. It should look extremely nice alongside your new God of War 3 PS4 remaster that hits shelves this July.
We're not saying it should be the center piece during the holidays, but a brooding, uncaring Kratos who has died a little inside is sure to at least inspire great party conversations. Or be thoroughly objected to by your better half. So really, it's a win-win.
