The video showcases Beenox's upcoming Amazing Spider-Man game, the first game that sees Spidey return to swinging around an open world Manhattan, not seen since the movie based Spider Man 3 released in 2007. Speaking on the size of the virtual metropolis, Beenox studio head Dee Brown said, "I personally have not been able to play through the entire game. There'll be a lot to do in the game."
Executive producer Brent Nicholas narrates the video and walks us around the virtual Manhattan, doing whatever a man with the speed and agility of a spider does - swing around, thwip webs, and bust baddies brains in.
Movement will be completely different from any other Spider-Man game with its new Web-Rush mechanic. Web-rush will impact navigation and combat alike, and really lets you do "whatever a spider can," or in the case of those who pre-order, Stan Lee.
Set to take place after the events of the movie, TheAmazing Spider-Man will debut in in the US on PS3, XBox360, and Wii, on June 26th, just days before the movie opens.
