March continues to roar like the lion it is with this week's list of games heading to PC and consoles.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! Final DLC Sends You Into Claptrap. Literally.
Assassin's Creed Rogue (PC) - March 10 - the last gen (and only working) Assassin's Creed title from last year sees you betrayed by your Assassin brothers. Now a Templar, you take the battle to your former comrades on both land and sea in one of the finest entries in the series. $49.99 for the game, $59.99 nets you the deluxe edition with the two DLC packs.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number (PS4, PS3, PS Vita, PC) - March 10 - the sequel to one of the most gleefully amoral titles of the past several years returns you to the neon-infused Miami nights of the 1980s in 20 new chapters alongside new factions, playable characters weapons and oh yes, animal masks. Perfect for all of you not very nice people out there. $14.99 on Steam currently.
If You Want To Go Heavensward, You're Going To Have To Wait
Sniper Elite 3: Ultimate Edition (Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3) - March 10 - the wonderful action title hits consoles with every piece of DLC previously released, including the mini-campaign Save Churchill. A perfect reward to those who wait. Check out Amazon to purchase.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 - Episode 3 'Judgment' (Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PC) - our heroes are really in the thick of it now. The traps grow ever more dangerous (spike ceilings!) and the intrigue every deeper. Trailer HERE. March 10
DMC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition (PS4, Xbox One) - March 10 - the fun and bloody remake gets a full 1080p remaster with all DLC included. The fast action gets even quicker with new game modes that up the difficulty, and the speed, as well as an endless onslaught that tosses you up against wave after wave of enemies just feasting for their own deaths.
Ori and the Blind Forest (Xbox One, PC) - March 11 - you had me at "Metroidvania inspired by Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli films". Guide Ori, a forest spirit, on his quest in this RPG/platforming adventure that is one of the most beautiful looking titles to come out of the genre since Child of Light. $19.99 on both platforms.
Sid Meier's Starships (PC, Mac) - March 12 - take command of a fleet of spacefaring vessels in the latest turn based strategy title from the legendary designer. Features fully customizable ships, endlessly diplomacy options, multiple paths to victory and all the classic gameplay you've grown to expect from a Sid Meier title. An iPad version is due out at some point this year, too.
Codename: S.T.E.A.M. (3DS) - March 13 - when invaders threaten the sanctity of the country, president Abraham Lincoln (voiced by Wil Wheaton!) turns to an elite squad of steampunk soldiers to show them what for. Why have we not gotten this sooner? Watch the trailer. $39.99
These should keep you busy for at least a few days until St. Patty's. See you next week!
