Square Enix released a new video showing off the main cave 'dungeon' in the upcoming Final Fantasy XV demo, titled 'Episode Duscae'.
Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintide Gets Some Great New GDC Footage
The video starts off fairly benignly: our adventurous foursome decide, 'what the heck? Let's go into this cave.' Not that we all wouldn't do the same thing, but we also lack the weaponry to really make a go of it when the little imps start crawling out of the darkness and swarming us.
First things first, no matter how much snark we might level at the game and its endless "preview" cycle, FF XV looks amazing. Secondly, the battle system eschews the traditional turn based system (which is understandable) and creates almost a Dynasty Warriors-esque experience. Players target and dash between enemies, dodging, rolling and parrying against a horde of bad guys.

One moment in the trailer had Noctis, the hero main character of the four, bump into one of his comrades and apologize ever so slightly. Somehow, that makes things more real, because in the chaos of battle, you may accidentally run into someone on your own team by mistake.
Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae will be available in two weeks to players who pre-order Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for Xbox One or PS4. Square Enix is adamant that it will not be released to anyone else, but we'll wait and see what actually happens. Currently, XV has no scheduled release date, though we are all hoping for some time this year.
