Thanks to a rogue element with the newest copy of Nintendo Gamer magazine, we, and the rest of the internet are now in the know that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be making its way to the Nintendo Wii U.
At E3 last week, both Activision and Nintendo showed a number of titles, but Black Ops for the Wii U was not among them, which is odd given the anticipation for the upcoming title.
While Nintendo hasn't listed an exact release date for the new console, Nintendo Gamer magazine has the game's release pegged for November, which does keep in timing of Nintendo's suggestion to launch the Wii U "before Christmas."
What everyone wants to know is how Activision will utilize the Wii U's tablet style controller. We'd love to tell you, but look closely enough at the scan, and it mentions that Wii U functionality is a "story for the next issue." (with the announcement of the new pro controller, I'd expect most players will opt for that, as it seems a bit more suited towards first person shooters). Likewise, the preview didn't give anything new as to what to expect from Black Ops as a whole either.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be released November 13th for the PS3, Xbox360, and Wii U (apparently).
