Morningstar: Descent to Deadrock, the updated version of point and click adventure game Morningstar, has been released. The eerie scifi adventure is now available for purchase through a variety of retailers.

The game focuses on Powell, a man who has found himself crash landed on what appears to be an uninhabited alien planet. Powell is on his own to save the Morningstar and what's left of her crew. The only signs of life, or at least that there had been life, is another ship in much better condition than Powell's, with a crew that is far deader.
Powell will have to repair the ship while trying to figure out and avoid the mystery of what murdered the crew of the other ship.

Morningstar is a point and click game with brand new puzzles and remastered cinematics that display the alien landscapes in much more depth.
"I'm very excited to bring players this new and upgraded version of Morningstar," says producer András Asztalos. "All the new additions elevate the game to a whole new level. This version is a lot closer to our original vision that we had back in '08. Zoltan Batky's new music is amazing and really creates the atmosphere and ambience of the game. The new voiceovers by Alec Dean and Zsolt Sárközy make the game a complete adventuring experience. I hope that the players will enjoy the game, and if all goes well, maybe we can bring you another adventure in the Morningstar universe sometime in the future."
