Verge Games announced today proudly announces an official partnership between its game Grumpy Goats and the charitable organization World Vision. This partnership will allow gamers to support World Vision by playing Grumpy Goats to benefit less fortunate families around the world. Verge Games sought out a charitable entity that would best complement the spirit of the Grumpy Goats game.
"World Vision's 'Gift Catalog' program, which donates life-changing animals to families in need, is such a successful program, and a compelling idea, that it was a natural fit. Our team wanted to include a component of goodwill within the Grumpy Goats game," said Robert Regular, President of Verge Games. "The ability to donate or gift farm animals such as goats and sheep to children and their families around the world was a major factor in choosing World Vision. They're the perfect partner for our Grumpy Goats game."
As Verge describes it, "Grumpy Goats is set in a barnyard environment where players are introduced to the plight of a group of goats determined to regain their honor after callously being sheared by a flock of sheep. Verge developers brought the game to life with colorful, engaging animation, challenging physics-based fortress demolition, and lots of replay value. It requires logic, skill, and determination to eliminate the enemy sheep and move through each of the 48 levels." Sound familiar?
With this new partnership, players are able to donate directly to World Vision via links within the game. Anyone who wants to play, donate, or get more information can do so on their facebook page.
