NBA 2K fans may have been a little disappointed to learn that NBA 2K12 had no dunk contest in the game at all. Now that this feature is back for NBA 2K13 there will definitely be mixed feelings about it, as it is certainly not the same game mode we have seen in the past. As odd as it may sound, it looks like Guitar Hero has met NBA 2K13.
2K Sports first introduced the dunk contest back in Fall 2007, for NBA 2K8 and since then it has been perhaps one of the best features of the game. Game footage of NBA2k13 was officially released, showcasing the new dunk contest mechanics and if you've played Guitar Hero games before, you'll find the swift color matching concept very familiar.
There will be exclusive DLC for those who preorder the game, a full all-star weekend package for free that includes: the slam dunk contest, the rising stars challenge access, 3-point contest, and full all-star game from 2012, which will be updated
