Now that football is over for the year, we can finally focus on basketball. Yeah! Angry Birds has heard your claxon cry for an NBA themed update and lo and behold, it has responded.
Spider-Man Unlimited Gets A Big New Update
The new 5.0.0 version of Angry Birds Seasons adds the NBA All-Star campaign (similar to the NBA Ham Dunk from a few years back), which includes 15 new NBA All-Star levels, plus an additional Golden Egg level for your trouble.
The best part is that the game is currently free on the App Store. It won't last long, though, the last price decrease was a limited time event that ran for about a week. That was in 2012, so this offer might not come again until the next presidential term.
The Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Trailer Is Full Of Beautiful Despair, No Translation Required
Actually, the best part is Rovio using NBA All Time Great Larry Bird in their latest trailer. Because how do they not utilize Boston's best? Watch it below.
Angry Birds Seasons launched in 2010 and has been going strong ever since, adding new maps every week and new updates every other month. The game now features over 550 pig-crashing, bird-throwing adventures and is among one of the most successful mobile titles of all time. Rovio itself has been undergoing recent turmoil, but Angry Birds - the company's flagship - remains strong and desperately vital.
Stay tuned and expect more Pig Days adventures to come, we have Valentine's Day, St. Patty's Day, President's Day, the Chinese New Year event (which came out last year). Heck, who knows? They may even throw an Academy Awards Pig Days event because who wouldn't want to see a bird or pig dressed up in a tux and dancing like NPH?
Head over to the App Store right now to pick up Angry Birds Season for FREE. Hurry, the deal only lasts for a week.
