The Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers: Watch The Google Plus Hangout With The Cast [VIDEO]

Changes Are Coming For Team Rick In The Walking Dead

Yesterday, members of the The Walking Dead cast and production sat down to answer fan questions during a Google Plus Hangout session. They answered questions from live "callers" as well as those that came in through social media channels.

The Hangout included Andrew Lincoln (who plays Rick Grimes), Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene), and Michael Cudlitz (Abraham Ford). They were also joined by showrunner Scott Gimble.

It's always really strange to hear Lincoln speak in his normal accent. Really strange.

New Episode Synopsis Reveals Coming Plot For The Walking Dead

The majority of questions centered on past episodes and what is was like to have been on the Walking Dead. Production probably screened out the questions that would reveal too much about the coming seasons. Spoil sports.

Even in that, Lincoln did let a little bit of a spoiler slip through. When discussing the most gut wrenching scenes and episodes from previous seasons, Lincoln did say that, "There are more to come."

No specific details were given but if you've been following the comics, you'll know that there are many, many brutal scenes still left to be explored. Although the show is its own entity in a lot of ways, past interviews have revealed that they will be coming back around to the comics themselves.

Gimple also confirmed during the Hangout that there will be changes and that they start right on episode 509. He said that things would get "Really different and crazy," and that "This back half of the season is really unusual and different."

Cast is still remaining very ambiguous but there are hints to a coming change for everyone involved.

The Walking Dead returns this Sunday. You can watch the Hangout below.
