Harkening back to the analog days and the dreaded 'playing outside' time, the new trailer follows a group of five kids and their (very reckless) game of Hide and Seek. It's four kids hunting for one in what is an easy juxtaposition to make. Evolve has four player hunters going up against a single monster with stakes that may be more life-threatening than hide and seek, but no less stressful.
Not one to be run down like a dog in the street, the hunted child evolves and soon gets his way. All of this is scored to an excellent vocal rendition of The Fugees' Ready or Not by the wonderful Scala & Kolacny Brothers girl's choir.

Live action trailers are a bigger and bigger thing as of late. The recent Dying Light gave you a first person view of parkour life in a zombie apocalypse, the Destiny commercial (from Oblivion director Joseph Kosinski) single-handedly changed the minds of many potential buyers and Shadow of Mordor even had a full mini-movie that may have been better than the entirety of the Battle of the Five Armies. It's serious business.
Evolve is out next Tuesday for PC, Xbox One and PS4. There is a wealth of pre-order and DLC shenanigans going on with it, but the core gameplay remains fantastic.
