New Trailer For Game Of Thrones Season Five Shows Plots within Plots
She was never in any part of the HBO series because it was felt she just didn't have a place in it. With the massive changes in storyline, this doesn't seem like such a copout.
In the trailer for season five, Sansa is seen being given advice by Little Finger to "avenge them", them quite possibly being her family. Her poor murdered and lost family.
Since we know Lady Stoneheart isn't coming, Sansa might be moving into a more aggressive role to take her place in the narrative. After all, the Freys really should pay for that awful wedding they put on.
Though Sansa is not an undead vengeance machine, with Little Finger by her side, she'll be able to manipulate the world of Westoros like a champ. In the context of the show, manipulating from the shadows seems much more apropos.
Game of Thrones returns on April 12 to HBO.
