Ok, fine. It's Jason Bateman and Will Arnett playing Call of Duty, but we can pretend. The two former (and forever) Arrested Development stars are staring in "Cocked Hammers," an upcoming machinima series to air exclusively on the Call of Duty: Elite network.
The inclusion of blurred out controllers so as not to anger the PC elites is a nice touch, but it's amazing how much smack Arnett can talk (and deliver!) as he's dishing out, as the kids say, ownage.
This isn't the first time Call of Duty's used the celebrity to amp up their players. The tutorial ads for Call of Duty 3 featured the mis-matched education of a Noob played by Jonah Hill from a Vet who happened to be Sam Worthington. Or back when Black Ops ran wild with it's tagline that there's a soldier in all of us, even Kobe "Black Mamba" Bryant and Jimmy "Proud Noob" Kimmel.
The Cocked Hammers series follows specialized Arnett and Bateman skinned players as they go through the Call of Duty 3 multiplayer. Bateman's got the right idea at the end, as there is no better way to savor revenge than a hot cup of tea.
