This is the second book in the trilogy that will cover this time in American history. The first book won many prestigious awards and was adopted into the classroom setting to help children learn about the Civil Rights movement in a more accessible way.

Congressman John Lewis was a key figure in the Civil Rights movement and March tells his story. The book was co-written by Andrew Aydin and illustrated by Nate Powell.
The first book focuses on Lewis' time spent growing up in rural Alabama and his life altering meeting with Martin Luther King, Jr. It follows the early part of his life as he was coming into activism his support of nonviolent protest.
The team has returned for the second book, March Book Two, which will include events such as the 1961 Freedom Rides and the 1963 March on Washington. All events are told through the first person perspective of Lewis giving readers a piece of living history.
March Book Two is currently out and can be purchased from local retailers along with the original March.
