The beta for Evolve just ended and was, by all accounts, a big success for Turtle Rock. To celebrate, the company has released a new 'Survival' guide video, a sort of Evolve 101 for up and coming hunters. Could this have come in handy earlier? Sure! Is it still appreciated? Yes.
The Witcher Battle Arena Is Here To Pass The Time Until The Wild Hunt
While the game may feature some DLC practices that are, in a word, ludicrous, one cannot deny the rush of excitement you feel after watching the seven minute video below. The guide takes you through the very basics, outlining each of the 12 hunters (three in each of the four classes), the standard three monsters (the Behemoth is not mentioned because that's DLC) and the very many game modes Evolve will feature.
What particularly caught my eye was the dynamic, five day Evacuation campaign that subtly shifts from day to day based on the results of the previous day's hunt. Did you kill the monster? Then you get some allies tomorrow. Did the monster mess some stuff up? Now there are eels everywhere.

Evolve hits consoles and high end PCs on February 10. There's a whole mess of pre-order and pre-purchase DLC you can buy should you want to. Turtle Rock has said that while there will be a lot of paid purchases available, all new maps will remain free so as to not fracture the community.
