A month ago we learned about a special that would focus on Game of Thrones season five. Fans haven't had much of a substantial look at the coming season and the information about the special was similarly cloaked in mystery. Finally we've got some details.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the special Game of Thrones: A Day in the Life would focus on the production of the massive show that happens over three countries. Filming for the new season was done in Northern Ireland, Croatia and Spain which is how they were able to get all the various countries needed to create the settings of Game of Thrones.
This is no surprise, after all, at this point, most of the main characters have been spread out to the four winds through various intrigue and plotting. This has lead to a production of truly epic proportions.
The Walking Dead Spinoff Will Be Much Different From The Original
Although not committing to showing any official footage from the upcoming season, there are sure to be teasers hidden among the working shots for fans familiar with the past seasons and the books. Not to mention a look at what the coming Game of Thrones will actually look like including the new land of Dorne which we haven't seen yet.
The next official trailer will be released during the upcoming IMAX screenings so fans hoping to get a good look at the coming season will have to check out the special one week only screening.
