Now, one COULD argue that after almost 30 years, controllers are going to start to look the same after a while, espcially once game developers determine the best and most comfortable designs. (Check the slideshow above to see how controllers have developed over time).
But...yeah, it's not the most original thing we've ever seen from Nintendo, especially after what most consider a warm reception to the remote for the Wii. But this just seems a step in...I don't even know what direction. It's been almost 30 years since the industry began, and hopefully it's not running low on originality. At least we have Sony to look to for its never been done before, completely original concept, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
In all honesty, I really don't expect them to keep with this design. Anyone rememebr the Sony boomerang?
