Viola Davis is going to play government agent Amanda Waller in Suicide Squad, but now it's been revealed that her inclusion may spill over to other DC films. That means that there's a chance we could see her making an appearance in the Justice League movie as well.
Justice League Movie Has Rumored Release Date Along With Slew Of DC Films
The Wrap reports that her contract would also entail her appearance in other films in addition to the role in Suicide Squad. This could just be the sequels for Suicide Squad, but there's a strong case that it's also for hero films under the DC banner.
Fans of the comic books know that Amanda Waller is not just involved with the miscreants from the Suicide Squad but in fact deals pretty heavily with other supers as well. She's popped up in various comics and even in some of the televisions shows, all in her role as a government official.

We know DC is creating a shared movie universe experience, much like Marvel has with its films, so it only makes sense that a character like Amanda Waller would show up in multiple films. Even though the supers have their world saving plots, the government always has something to say.
Her character could easily be seen in both the main Justice League movie and the separate hero films slated to arrive in the coming yearsand her inclusion would provide an easy tie into an overall universe.
The Justice League movie is rumored to have a release date sometime in 2017. Suicide Squad will be released on August 5, 2016.
