Bad news, PC gamers--Grand Theft Auto V has been delayed on the platform.
Rockstar announced today that the title will now launch on March 24, 2015, but the developers have also attempted to soften the blow of the delay with the first screens and system requirements. Here's what Rockstar had to say on the new release date:
"Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be. Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March."
GTA Online for PC will support up to 30 players, and will be available right at launch. The team also promises that the long-awaited online heists will come to consoles before the PC version releases, and that the feature will be available at launch. The PC title runs at 1080p, 60fps, and supports 4K resolutions. Triple monitor setup for 4K and Nvidia 3D Vision are also supported.
The game also comes with the Rockstar Editor, a nice bonus that allows players to create and publish gameplay clips to Rockstar Social Club and YouTube using a suite of editing tools. Finally, here are your required and reccommended specs:
