He announced the contest via his channel, where he will be working with Mountain Dew on this contest, which is sure to receive a lot of submissions. The vast majority will no doubt be unpublishable. It's the nature of fan fiction.
Still, willing fans can take up the challenge and write a 500 words or less piece of fan fiction in the genres of horror, comedy, or action. You can also throw in any props or special guest stars that appear on the provided lists for contributors.

You have to be at least 18 to submit but the contest is international so anyone in the whole wide world can participate. Five stories per person max though.
Those are the only rules for the contest so it seems that literally anything else goes. Whatever you want to write, go ahead, whatever you come up with is fine. "You basically have golden opportunity to troll the hell out of me now," PewDiePie said by way of explanation.
As for prizes, the winner of the contest will get their story animated and shown on PewDiePie's channel sometime in May. And all the bragging rights. All of them.
