Any questions we've had about Dawnguard, the DLC coming out later this summer for Skyrim, have been answered in under two minutes of jaw dropping video.
The Dovahkin gets mixed up in official vampire business as the Dawnguard, essentially to vampires what the Silver Hand are to werewolves. Except as the vampire lord asks us whether we're there to accept darkness and bring about or stop a new age of darkness in Skyrim, which honestly happens almost every other quest.
The huge reveal includes what additions Dawnguard brings us from the Skyrim game jam, which featured the 100 or so developers implementing what they'd like to see added on. It included long range kill cams and mounted combat, which we now have. But with Dawnguard there'll also be flying vampire lords, crossbows, new creatures (was that a new kind of Frost Giant? Did that Dragon dive beneath the ice?), additional armor types and more Elder Scroll shenanagins? Hope you didn't sell your Scroll to Urag.
The DLC comes out later this summer first for the Xbox at 1600 Microsoft Points.
