Steam is hosting its first anime-centric game sale, which is already live right now despite being a "weekend" promotion.

With the holidays behind us and no specific reason to offer long, general sale periods, Valve has decided to focus on the somewhat niche genre from today until Monday, January 12.
There are more than 40 games included in the sale (did you know Steam had that many anime titles?), with some up to 75 percent off. Discounted games include BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, Strider, various titles from the Ys series, Hatoful Boyfriend, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, and many more.

On Monday, the sale will end at 10 a.m. Pacific, so there's certainly time to get your shopping in. If it's a genre you love, this is a great chance to pick up something you've had your eye on. If you're not a fan, there may very well be something that you'll enjoy given so many titles are on sale. Give something a shot!
