The deadly ankle-biters from the remake of "Piranha" are back and they're invading your phones!
"Piranha 3DD: The Game" is out today on iOS and Android marketplaces. Developed by TWC Games, which is a subsidary of the Weinstein Company releasing the film this Friday in theaters, you play as a school of pre-historic piranha invading a water park after being sealed away in the previous film. While there's no Adam Scott in this one--robbed, we think, of Best Eaten By A Giant Jump Scare At The End Of The Film Wait Is That A Spoiler Oh Well:
The game has a little more diversity--and a pixelated Ving Rhames--in the two modes, one revisiting spring break and the other having your school of deadly fish consume whatever they can in a cave. Of course, there are natural threats to the piranha, like poisonious jelly fish, exploding barrles that happen to be in an underwater cave and Ving Rhames with a shotgun-leg.
The game's a buck and honestly, if you're not in on the joke then you should really get out of the piranha-infested water.
