House of Cards is coming back in February for its third season. Could this be the last one for the political drama? There are some signs that this may be the end of Frank Underwood in the popular Netflix show.
Frank Falls From Grace In New Season of House Of Cards
We already know that Frank has made it to the top of the political food chain in the US and that there's nowhere left to go but down. We've already shared that this season may see him coming down from his high horse.
In a spoiler leaked by Den of Geek, he may be going lower than rock bottom, Frank might end up in the underworld. Which is to say, instead of just losing power, he may end up dead.
A New Inmate Enters The Prison On Orange Is The New Black
This is again based on the British show that our House of Cards is modeled after. In that version, Francis Urqharts, the British version of Frank Underwood, is actually assassinated in a hit set up by his wife.
Granted, the relationship between the couple was a bit different than what it is in the American version of the show. Still a murder plot, with or without Claire is not outside the realm of possibility.
It has already been reported that this season will test the relationship between the two. Murder plots would probably be pretty high up there on the list of things couples need to work out.
Netflix hasn't announced that this is the last season but that doesn't mean it won't be. Netflix is a digital cowboy. They do what they want.
House of Cards returns on February 27 on Netflix.
