Fan remakes and mods are truly one of the best aspects of PC gaming, bringing new life to older games or giving players a reason to revisit old favorites. One modder is taking a crack at the SNES version of Shadowrun, reviving the title with Shadowrun Returns' engine.

Currently posted in Alpha state on the Steam Workshop, the Shadowrun SNES Reboot by ledeir seeks to remake and improve the original title. The page explains that it is still under development and bugs are present, but updates will continue to come that fix and grow the game.
As you can see in the screenshots, the work is looking pretty good! The newer engine will of course do wonders for an older title, and it does require Geeked's prop pack, also available on Steam Workshop here. The project is specifically a mod for Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut, a major standalone expansion campaign for Shadowrun Returns.
