It has been three years since the events of Heavy Metal Thunder and the alien invasion is slowly making its way across the solar system. During that time, the elite Black Lance Legion has looked on and done nothing while the rest of humanity has been enslaved, or worse. But now is the time to strike and you will become the hero and lead your troops to victory, or at least die trying.
Or to put it more succinctly: "In Sol Invictus, you and your teammates fight the first battles in outer space that will either save humanity from invading aliens or seal their fate for all time." Now that is a way to ring in the new year.

The series does not support character-shifts, so you’ll be creating a new narrative from scratch for both titles. You can, however, play up to three separate storylines at once in Sol Invictus.
