American Horror Story: Freak Show returns to FX next week with episode 11, "Magical Thinking". The synopsis for the episode has been released detailing some of what fans could hope to see. I don't think I need to say it but this is full of spoilers, just crawling with them.
Stanley on AHS, a Freakish Killer of Freaks?
The preview for the upcoming episode premiered after episode 10 "Orphans" aka, the saddest episode of anything ever, although it didn't give much in the way of momentum for the show's story lines, in fact, key players were mostly if not entirely absent from the episode, although it did give us some clues as to what's come. Namely, it confirms that Elsa did in fact make it to Hollywood.
In the synopsis shared by IBT we learn that Elsa will be making moves to Hollywood in this episode. It also reveals that Stanley has been completely full of it, so any idea that it's by his hand that she makes her big break is completely and totally shattered.

It also reveals that Desiree did in fact learn the truth from Maggie and will be confronting Elsa with the information. Which means that the shot of Jimmy's hands at the end of episode 10 was in fact legit. In the past, shocking scenes have turned out to be dreams. Not this time. Unless of course it was a dream they went at all and we get a replay of it in the new episode, sans jar hands.
It is unlikely that Stanley will even pretend to keep his promise to Jimmy even if he did take his hands. So we'll have to wait and see if Del's plans to get Jimmy out of jail come to fruition or if he's released through some other means.
Freak Show returns on January 7.
