Maybe 38 Studios' Project Copernicus isn't as dead as we thought.
Three screen shots from the game, which is still slated for a Summer 2013 release, leaked to the Kingdom of Amalur forum 38 Watch last night. The photos showcase three species in the game according to the post, "Almain, Dverga, [and] Jottun." All the races are connected to the Amalur world, even if their site has no content.
This comes after 38 Studios released a "fly through" of their new world:
And yes, the legal issues between the state of Rhode Island and 38 Studios are still going strong. Today comes word that the studio likely won't be eligibel for tax credits AND two senior executives left the company from The Escapist. Over at the Boston Globe's local site, three scenarios about what will--and is--happening to the folks at 38 Studios.
