We gave into the earlier hype behind "Metro: Last Light" earlier this week. Much like referencing Yakov Smirnov in the headline, it's something that we utterly regret doing.
The trailer is a live-action short that, while entirely in Russian, sets up the essential premise for the sequel to "Metro 2033" without mentioning anything about the plot, the plight of original protagonist Artyom, save for a vague hint at how he was saved as a child, or what happens to The Dark Ones from the original game.
While the short's a fun way to quietly launch "Last Light'"s new website,it still reveals nothing outside of what the sequel will be or what to expect in terms of game play. It's still set for a first quarter release in 2013 and was previewed last year at e3.
