Transformers: Age of Extinction did surprisingly well at box offices. The star of the filmMark Wahlberg reveals that there may be a fifth movie coming in the series of films about giant space robots duking it out all over the planet Earth. The question is, will Michael Bay stay attached to the project?

Wahlberg has said in an interview with MTV that, "Yeah, I committed to doing a couple more."
A couple? So more than just the next one in the series?

However, there's no news on whether the explosive heavy director Michael Bay would be returning the franchise or not. He has directed the series since its beginning and it bears his signature look and feel. If another director took over for him, it would likely be a very different experience. Of course, he said he wasn't coming back for the fourth movie and yet, here we are.
The movie was a box office success (because, Transformers) but was largely bashed by critics. Even with bad reviews, it went on to be the highest grossing film of 2014. Which goes to show, you really can't go wrong with giant robots. They're more than meets the eye.
Whalburg had no comment on Bay saying only, "I can't speak for Mr. Bay, but something tells me we'll be on set soon."
Which makes sense, they'll be due for another movie in the series soon. No doubt it will be bigger and more explosive than the one before it. Check out the interview below.
