In Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, it's not always just about how many enemies you can kill. It's also about how good you look doing it. With four kinds of customization pack now available for Xbox players, giving your soldier a signature look has become a whole lot easier.
Advanced Warfare's Latest Content Update Hits PS3, PC Patch Coming Soon
Advanced Warfare's multiplayer emphasized customization more than any previous title in the franchise. Beyond picking out loadout details like weapons and perks, Advanced Warfare players were given more freedom to customize the face and outfit of their in-game avatar with several vanity items. These new personalization packs on Xbox 360 and Xbox One take that system even further, allowing players to add slick textures to their weapons and exoskeleton.
The first kind of customization pack now available is called a Personalization Pack. In each Personalization Pack, players receive a weapon skin and three custom reticles for guns with a scope. The Creature Pack seen above is an example of what you'll get in a Personalization Pack. These are available for $1.99 each.
Apparently Advanced Warfare Isn't Selling As Well As Ghosts Did Last Year
Exoskeleton Packs allow players to change up their look with custom designs for their soldier's exoskeleton and helmet, like in the Hot Rod Pack below. Exoskeleton Packs are available for $2.99. Players can also choose to combine these first two kinds of packs by purchasing Premium Personalization Packs, which give players matching skins for their weapon, exoskeleton and helmet while including three custom reticles. These premium packs cost $3.99 each.
Finally, Advanced Warfare has introduced Flag Exoskeleton Packs. These packs let players show off their national pride with exoskeleton and helmet designs based off one of ten international flags. Let enemies know at a glance that your entire team is Canadian or that they just got shot by a Frenchman. The current countries with flags represented in these packs are the United States, the UK, the Netherlands, Japan, Italy, Spain, Germany, Australia, Canada and France. These packs can be purchased for $1.99 each.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is now available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC. At this time, these customization packs are only available over Xbox Live. You can check out all of the new designs over on the game's community site.
