New LEGO Batman 3 Beyond Gotham DLC Adds Terry McKinnis And Crew From Animated Series 'Batman Beyond'

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham DLC Adds More 'Batman' And Way More 'Beyond' With New Character Add On Pack

In what is sure to be one of the more tongue twisting titles in television game time (almost had it), the fine folks over at WB have released a new DLC pack featuring the surprisingly good Batman Beyond. Wishing to avoid calling it LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Batman Beyond, WB has opted instead to call it the ‘Batman Of The Future Character Pack’. Which is unwieldy in its own way.

Skylanders Trap Team Adds Not One But Two New Elements!

Batman of the Future is what the 1999 animated series was called in Europe and Latin America. In 2039, a far off future at the time, an aging Bruce Wayne passes the mantle of Batman onto street-smart teenager Terry McGinnis to continue the fight against the Gotham - now Neo-Gotham - criminal underworld. The series ran for two seasons on the then WB but is still cited as one of the all time great Batman serials (a property that has consistently high quality).

If you have never seen the show, there is a good chance you have seen Old Bruce Wayne, a popular meme that shows disdain and derision.

In the ‘Batman of the Future Character Pack’, players can control Terry McGinnis and all the futuristic gadgets that will no doubt arrive at some point in the next few years, such as a “technologically-advanced Batsuit allowing him to fly, fire Batarang darts and even turn fully invisible.” Past and future collide as a new menace known as the Blight and the return of the Joker, Mr. Freeze and more.

Let’s just all agree to call it LEGO Batman Beyond. The add on character pack is available on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC for $1.99.
