Say Goodbye to Some Amiibos, Nintendo is Discounting Certain Lines

Nintendo is famously hesitant on films since the hilara-bad 1993 live action Super Mario Bros film. The film stared Bob Hopskins as Mario and Dennis Hopper as King Koopa. It happened in a strange underground world where people were dinosaurs but somehow not? Everything was covered with fungus, that was also the true king. And Goombas were huge, with tiny heads. The whole thing was terrible and the ending had the nerve allude to a sequel.

Even so, Nintendo hasn't ruled out making movies completely, they're just gun shy. There's no news from Nintendo's end on whether or not this could break decade long lack of films for the company. Still, Sony seems pretty confident.
