Nintendo is back with an amiibo to help you forget the terror that lurks under Princess Peach's skirts. The Meta Knight is now available for pre-order from Best Buy to add to your ranks of tiny attack machines.
Lucario Amiibo Will be Exclusive to Toys "R" US
Meta Knight is the ultra-mysterious character from the Kirby series who first appeared in 1993 as a background character. In the recent incarnations of everyone's favorite pink cream puff, however, he's been given a much meatier role in the series. Meta Knight is known by his silver mask and cape/wings but under the mask he looks just like Kirby, just blue.
He is the newest addition to the Nintendo line of amiibo figures. The cute figurines were developed to help gamers add a new dimension to their favorite games. Each figure can be used across multiple titles to unlock features like alternative costumes for certain characters. Wii U games compatible with amiibos include Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Mario Party 8, and Hyrule Warriors to name a few.

Meta Knight is for Super Smash Bros., as he's a playable character in that game. You'll be able to level him up and use him to destroy the competition. You're not confined to just one figure, you can use multiple figures at once in order to expand and compound your gameplay.
Meta Knight is due to come out in February but the figure is available for pre-order right now.
